Membership
Intermediate 18 to 24 Years – NEW category for 2012/2013
Young adults aged 18 to 24 years (as at 1 July) of age - cost $220.00 per year;
Intermediate 25 to 28 Years – NEW category for 2012/2013
Young adults aged 25 to 28 years (as at 1 July) of age - cost $330.00 per year.
Gold Membership
At a cost of $795.00 with this category of membership you will receive full voting rights, full playing rights and access to an official GolfLink handicap. With this category of membership, you will be entitled to free social or out-of-competition play. It is hoped that this level of membership will remain attractive and offer significant savings to those members who play a lot of golf outside of competitions.
Silver Membership
The cost of silver membership has been set at $530.00 for the next twelve months. With this membership you will receive full playing rights with the ability to obtain, or retain, an official handicap with access to GolfLink, along with full voting rights at any open meeting of members. You will also be entitled to unlimited social play at the current rate of $8.50 per day. The cost of this membership will be decreased for 18 to 24 year olds to $220.00 and for 25 to 28 year olds to $330.00. (See Intermediate Category above)
Bronze Membership
The cost of this category of membership is now $350.00 per annum. This membership category is aimed at those members who wish to obtain, or retain, an official AGU or WGA handicap, but don’t play competition golf regularly. Bronze membership does not have voting rights nor will the member be able to stand as a director of the Club. For Bronze members social golf will cost $17.50 per day for unlimited social play, and competition golf will cost $17.50 plus the competition fee for the day.
Corporate Membership
The cost of Corporate Membership is set at $1,350.00 per year. Those businesses that take up this form of membership will be able to nominate two individuals for Silver Membership, with additional memberships being available for $530.00 each. Each business will be the naming sponsor of a Thursday golf competition, currently the second largest competition each week, with acknowledgement on the big screen on the day of the event. The business will also be acknowledged on our website as being a valued supporter of the Club.
New and Returning Members
With a view of encouraging new and returning members to the Club a regime of discounted membership will be implemented for members in their first year of membership. To qualify for this discount you will need to be a new player who has never held a handicap, or a returning member with a lapsed handicap of more than five years. Should a person fulfil these criteria they will be entitled to their first year’s membership at the discounted rate of $330.00.
Members are also reminded that for all golfing memberships there is an option to pay either half yearly or monthly by direct debit if this would be of assistance. (There are some small additional administrative costs associated with these options and should you find either of these appealing you should speak with staff or the Club’s manager to ascertain details).
Competition Fees $17.50 all categories
