Fee structure 2011 - 2012

Platinum Membership

This is the premier membership within the Club and is aimed at the golfer who plays a lot of golf. The benefits of this membership are unlimited competition and social golf for the entire year! This means that you will not pay any further green fees for any competition held at the Club for an entire year. (This does not include corporate events organised by third parties, such as the Sport UNE or Westpac Rescue Helicopter charity days. Also, normal nomination conditions apply for entry to the Armidale Jug). With this membership you will receive full voting rights, full playing rights with access to an official handicap, plus membership of GolfLink. The cost of this membership is currently $2,000.00 per year and along with Gold and Silver memberships can be paid annually, half yearly or monthly.

Gold Membership

At a cost of $700.00 per year with this category of membership you will receive full voting rights, full playing rights with access to an official handicap, plus membership of GolfLink. You will be entitled to free social or out-of-competition play. It is hoped that this level of membership will remain attractive and offer significant savings to those members who play a lot of golf outside of competitions.

Silver Membership

The cost of silver membership has been set at $480.00. With this membership you will receive full playing rights with the ability to obtain, or retain, an official handicap and access to GolfLink, along with full voting rights at any open meeting of members. You will also be entitled to unlimited social play at the current rate of $6.00 per day.

Bronze Membership

This category of membership has been amended as the Club attempts to meet the changing needs of our members. The cost of this category of membership has increased from $250.00 to $300.00 per annum. However, this level of membership will now include the ability to obtain, or retain, an official AGU or WGA handicap. Fees for this level of membership are payable annually only. Bronze membership does not have voting rights nor will the member be able to stand as a director. Social golf will cost $15.00 per day for unlimited social play, and competition golf will cost $15.00 plus the competition fee for the day.

Corporate Membership

We are now offering businesses the opportunity of taking up Corporate Membership at a cost of $1,250.00 per year. Those businesses that take up this form of membership will be able to nominate two individuals for Silver Membership, with additional memberships being available for $480.00 each. Each business will be the naming sponsor of a Thursday golf competition, currently the second largest competition each week, with acknowledgement on the big screen on the day of the event. The business will also be acknowledged on our website as being a valued supporter of the Club.

Tee Sponsors Corporate Membership

We are now offering those businesses which have supported the Club by sponsoring a tee the opportunity to take up Corporate Membership. Full details of these Corporate Memberships are available in a separate tee sponsors package. If you are interested in sponsoring a tee and taking up this form of membership please do not hesitate to contact the Club’s Manager to discuss this exciting opportunity.

With Platinum, Gold and Silver levels of membership you will also be able to pay on an instalment basis. Platinum Membership will cost $1,050.00 if paid half yearly or $175.00 if paid monthly. If you wish to pay your Gold Membership by instalments, the half yearly fee will be $367.50 and the monthly fee $61.25. For Silver Membership the half yearly fee will be $252.00 and the monthly fee $42.00. The monthly installment payment option will incur an additional $30.00 administration fee payable with your first monthly installment which should be paid by 31 July 2011. Conditions apply should you elect to pay by instalments and details are available from the Club’s Manager.
